The Seminole Soil & Water Conservation District has a Supervisor vacancy following the recent resignation of Group 3 Supervisor Amy Volpe.
Per Florida Statutes Chapter 582, the Seminole Soil & Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors is charged with filling the vacancy. The board will hear from interested applicants at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 8th 2021 at 6PM in the Longwood City Commission Chambers located at 175 West Warren Ave, Longwood, FL 32750. Candidates must present themselves in-person at this time to be considered. Candidates will be given 3 minutes to address the board followed by questions from members of the board. Candidates are not required to but are encouraged to provide a resume. Candidates must be eligible to hold public office in Seminole County, Florida as of April 15th 2021. The candidate selected, will be appointed to fulfill the vacant term which concludes in January 2023.
