Name of Incident: Lift Station #7 force Main Leak

Incident Description
At approximately 2:00 PM on November 13, 2021 a small leak was reported on a 6 Force Main on the property of 105 Horselovers Lane. The lift station (#7) was immediately shut down, however, during the repair a nearby potable water service line was broken which combined with the wastewater and an estimated 3,000 gallons of diluted raw wastewater was released into an adjacent drainage ditch which ultimately connects to the Little Wekiwa River. The leak was stopped by 4:30 PM on November 13, 2021. Cleanup included spreading of granular chlorine.
